Have you ever copied some text from a web page or a document and then wanted to paste it as simple text into another application without getting all the formatting from the original source? PureText makes this simple by adding a new Windows hot-key (default is WINDOWS+V) that allows you to paste text to any application without formatting.
PureText is a useful tool to convert clipboard text into plain text and remove all formatting. Usually, if you copy/paste text or paragraphs into a word processor or other rich text aware application, it will maintain all formatting including hyperlinks etc. PureText runs in the system tray and can convert the text in the clipboard with a single click. Optionally it can also paste the converted text directly into the document. The pasted text will have all formatting removed.

What PureText Will and Will Not Do
PureText only removes rich formatting from text. DISTRIBUTE SYSTEM MEMORY SECURELY AND CORRECTLY IN WINDOWS XP
Data Execution Prevention (DEP) watches programs to examine whether programmes are using system memory securely correctly and lawfully so that system willnot be hang. Unlike Windows 7, Windows XP's DEP is only enabled for necessary operating system programs and services because not all software programs run smoothly with DEP and this may issues of not opening certain programmes as is the case of Snagit and also of HP photosmart essentials which is distributed along with HP printers. To enhance security, you can turn on DEP for all programs and then make exceptions for individual programs and services like adding it to turn on DEP for all programmes and services except those I select in my situation I have put exceptions in the lists are Snagit and HP photo smart essentials.
The procedure to enable DEP for all programs
From the Control Panel, click System
Click the Advanced tab, then click <Settings> under Performance
Click the Data Execution Prevention tab, select Turn on DEP for all programs and services except those I select, and then click OK.
Save & Restart the computer so that changes will take effect and also restart manually as it will not restart yours system you have to do it by going to Start menu then turn off computer and then restart.
How to add exceptions - If certain programs cause problems, define them as exceptions.
From the Control Panel, click System
Click the Advanced tab, then click <Settings> under Performance
Click the Data Execution Prevention tab, then click <Add>
Search & select the program file you want to add as an exception, click Open, and then click OK.
Repeat Step #4 as needed
Save & Restart the computer for this change to take effect

Yes, you can. There are tools like Wireshark, which scan the whole network-traffic. We could not recognize any obvious activity. But you can proof this by yourself.
PS: We also disabled the DNS-Precaching by default, because this could perhaps used by spammers

This is not useful because the original Chromium-Builds have nearly the same functions inside than the original Chrome. We can only provide Iron because we massively modified the source.”

Customising Safari:
Blocking content
Webpages often contain time-consuming programs that install software on your computer or show you ads. You can prevent pages from loading such content. Unfortunately, many beneficial features use the same technology, so if you block ads, you might also block the animation and interactivity that makes webpages interesting.
To block certain types of content:
1. Choose Edit > Preferences.
2. Click Security.
3. In the Web Content section, check or uncheck types of content you want to block or enable. Click the Help (question mark) button to see an explanation of the options.
Blocking pop-up windows
Some webpages display pop-up windows. For example, a webpage might use a pop-up window to request your user name or to display ads. You can block these pop-up windows.
To block pop-up windows:
Choose Edit > Block Pop-Up Windows, so that a checkmark appears next to it.
Blocking pop-up windows stops the windows that appear when you open or close a page. It does not block pop-up windows that open when you click a link.
If you block pop-up windows, you might miss important information for a webpage.
Making Safari your default web browser
Your default browser opens when you click links like the ones you see in documents and email messages.
To make Safari your default browser:
1. Choose Edit > Preferences.
2. Click General.
3. In the Default Web Browser pop-up menu, choose Safari.
Some applications open webpages in a browser other than your default browser.
Browsing privately
When you browse the web, Safari stores information about the websites you visit, including the content and any user names, passwords, and credit card numbers you enter. Other people who use your computer can view that information.
If you don’t want this information stored, use private browsing:
Choose Edit > Private Browsing, and click OK when you see a confirmation message.
The following occurs when private browsing is turned on:
• Webpages are not added to the history list.
• The Downloads window is cleared so the name of anything you downloaded won't appear in the list. (To get rid of the downloaded item itself, you must delete it.)
• Information isn't saved for AutoFill, including names and passwords.
• Searches are not added to the pop-up menu in the search field.
• Cookies are deleted.
To turn private browsing off, choose it from the menu again, and close any windows you’ve used to view private information. If you don’t close the windows, other users can view those pages using the Back and Forward buttons.
If you neglected to turn on Private Browsing before you browsed, choose Edit > Reset Safari.
Private browsing is always turned off when you open Safari, even if it was on when you last quit Safari.
Clearing the history list
Safari stores the addresses of webpages you have viewed. This list helps you return to those pages, but you may want to clear it to maintain privacy.
To clear the history list:
• To clear the entire list, choose History > Clear History.
• To clear individual items from the list, click the open-book icon, click History in the Collections (left) column, and then highlight the items you want to clear and press the Delete key.
• To have the history list automatically cleared, choose Edit > Preferences, click General, and choose an option from the "Remove history items" menu.
the cache
As you open webpages, Safari saves the pages on your computer in a temporary location called the "cache." Safari can retrieve webpages from the cache faster than getting them from the web, so the cache is a good time-saving device for pages you return to repeatedly.
If you're viewing a webpage that's frequently updated, you may want to empty the cache to make Safari retrieve the latest version. If you are creating a webpage, you may need to empty the cache to see new content.
To empty the cache:
Choose Edit > Empty Cache, and then click Empty.
Resetting Safari
If you use a shared or public computer, you may want to reset Safari to prevent other people from seeing which webpages you’ve visited.
Important: Resetting Safari removes all cookies, saved passwords, and saved AutoFill information, not just the ones saved during the current browsing session. Cookies saved by other applications may also be removed.
To reset:
1. Choose Edit > Reset Safari.
2. Deselect any items you don’t want to reset:
o Clear history: Clears the stored addresses of webpages you've viewed.
o Empty the cache: Clears the temporary location on your computer where Safari saves webpages you’ve viewed. The cache helps webpages load more quickly.
o Clear the Downloads window: Clears the list of files you’ve downloaded from websites. Only the names are removed; the files themselves are still on your disk until you remove them.
o Remove all cookies: Removes cookies that websites have stored on your computer.
o Remove all website icons: Removes website icons, which are small graphics that help identify sites on the Internet. You see them in Safari’s address bar, bookmarks list, and other places. These icons are stored on your computer
o Remove saved names and passwords: Removes user names and passwords, which Safari remembers for you when the AutoFill feature is turned on.
o Remove other AutoFill form text: Removes personal information, such as name and address, used to automatically complete forms on webpages. Safari remembers this information for you when the AutoFill feature is turned on.
o Clear searches: Clears the search field of recent searches, which are normally saved in a list viewed by clicking the search field’s magnifying glass icon.
o Close all Safari windows: If you don’t close all Safari windows, someone could use the Back and Forward arrows to view the webpages you've visited.
3. Click Reset.
Open windows are closed and a new window opens. The new window has a new history for the Back and Forward buttons and the SnapBack buttons.
If you reset Safari, cookies saved by other applications may also be removed.
Keeping password-protected websites secret
When you enter a user name and password for a website, Safari asks if you want to save the information. You may want to keep your password, as well as your visit to that website, secret.
To prevent Safari from saving your user name and password:
1. Go to the website and enter your user name and password.
2. When Safari asks if you to want to save the information, click Not Now.
Note: If you want no record of your visit to that website, click Not Now. If you click "Never for this Website," Safari adds the website to a list with a "never saved" designation. The list is easily viewed by anyone who has access to your computer.
If you have clicked "Never for this Website" and wish to remove the website from the "never saved" list, see "Deleting password information."
Managing cookies
If you are concerned about cookies, you can set how you want Safari to handle them.
Important: Changing your cookie preferences or removing cookies may cause similar changes in other applications.
To change cookie preferences:
1. Choose Edit > Preferences.
2. Click Security.
3. In the Accept Cookies section, choose how you want Safari to handle cookies. Click the Help button (question mark) to see an explanation of the options.
4. If you want to see more information about the cookies stored on your computer, click Show Cookies. The following information is displayed for each cookie:
o Website that stored the cookie
o Name
o Path, or location, on your computer
o Secure status; cookies marked “secure” are sent over an encrypted connection
o Expiration date; when it will be removed from your computer
o Content; normally a string of code
If you've set Safari to block cookies, you may need to temporarily accept cookies to open a page. Repeat the above steps, selecting Always. When you're done with the page, turn off cookies again and remove the page's cookies.
Setting up a proxy server
If your computer connects to the Internet through a network protected by a firewall, you may need to specify proxy servers to get to webpages and other Internet resources.
Before you begin, ask your network administrator to tell you which type of proxy server to specify (for example, a web proxy server), the IP address or DNS name for the server, and a port number.
To set up a proxy server:
1. Choose Edit > Preferences.
2. Click Advanced.
3. Click Change Settings. The Internet Properties dialog opens. (If you are using Vista, this dialog is named Internet Options.)
4. Click Settings, and use the information you got from your network administrator to change the settings.
5. Click OK.
The server is called a "proxy" because Safari sends requests for webpages to the server instead of directly to the website.
Automating RSS
If you want instant notification when your RSS pages have new articles, set RSS preferences in Safari.
To set RSS preferences:
1. Choose Edit > Preferences.
2. Click the RSS tab.
3. Make your selections. Click the Help button (question mark) to see an explanation of the options.
Bookmarking webpages
Bookmarking lets you easily return to your favorite webpages.
To bookmark a webpage:
1. Go to the webpage you want to bookmark.
2. Click the Add (+) button.
3. Type a name for the bookmark in the dialog that appears.
4. Specify where you want to keep the bookmark. You can add it to the bookmarks bar, the Bookmarks menu, or to one of the collections of bookmarks, such as News or Travel.
5. Click Add.
To see your bookmarks, choose Bookmarks > Show All Bookmarks, or click the open-book icon.
Setting up tabbed browsing
Tabbed browsing lets you view multiple webpages as a set of tabs within the Safari window. Some people are passionate about this feature. If you’re not sure, try it for yourself. You can always turn it off.
To set up tabbed browsing:
1. Choose Edit > Preferences.
2. Click Tabs.
3. Choose the settings you want. Click the Help button (question mark) to see an explanation of the options.

Viewing PDF files
When you click a link for a PDF file, Safari displays it in your browser window and provides a toolbar and a sidebar to help you view the file.
To use the PDF tools:
• To view the toolbar, place the pointer in the middle of the PDF page, near the bottom. If you move the pointer away from the toolbar, it disappears after a moment.
• To view the sidebar, click the triangle at the left end of the toolbar.
• To move from one page to another, click the arrow buttons in the toolbar or click a page in the sidebar.
• If the type is too small or too large, click the plus (+) and minus (-) buttons to zoom in or out.
• To save the PDF file on your hard disk, choose File > Save As.
• To view the PDF file in Notepad, click the tool at the right end of the toolbar.
Typing webpage addresses (URLs)
When you use Safari to go to a webpage, Safari looks for the page's web address (also known as its URL). Most web addresses are in the form "h."
It's often faster to type the address than to search for the page or try to find a bookmark.
If you know a webpage's address:
1. Highlight any text that's currently in the address field.
2. Type the address and press Enter.
If you've previously visited the page, Safari completes the address as you type. If there's more than one matching address, Safari shows you a list to choose from.
If Safari can't find a matching page for what you've typed, it makes its best guess and takes you there.
To avoid needless typing, type the key part of the address and Safari will fill in the rest. For instance, to visit "http://www.cats.com," type "cats.com."
