I am sure the reader must be influenced by this little freeware and must appreciate the author for making this freeware as a little champion .
I must suggest here , to use the Ccleaner as for cleaning only as specialise function must be done with specialised software or freewares.
There is also one add remove programme available on it and in fact it loads faster than the inbuilt add remove programme of Windows XP.
My experiences with this software is that I always avoid its registry cleaner as it is a very complicated task and need to be dealt with the experience people and it is some what a specialise subject , need to be dealt with caution.
This freeware is an allrounder in cleaning up yours PC and also it is also true that it provides everything which already consits and situa ted in yours PC environment.
Use Windows Disk Cleanup to:•
Remove temporary Internet files
Remove downloaded program files (such as Microsoft ActiveX controls and Java applets)
Empty the Recycle Bin
Remove Windows temporary files
Remove optional Windows components that you don't use
Remove installed programs that you no longer use
To use Disk Cleanup:
Click Start, point to All Programs, point to Accessories, point to System Tools, and then click Disk Cleanup. If several drives are available, you might be prompted to specify which drive you want to clean.
In the Disk Cleanup for dialog box, scroll through the content of the Files to delete list.
Clear the check boxes for files that you don't want to delete, and then click OK.
When prompted to confirm that you want to delete the specified files, click Yes.
But it is a very useful tool for nebies and especially for my grandmother , who wants an all in one tool that can be multifunctional and very easy to use and also I have installed Windows Steady State so that , if by mistake she click on the prefetch folder to clean, then it can be reocvered through typical Windows Steady State setting.
Even she by mistake clean the registery settings then it can also be recovered through Windows Steady State simple configurations.
Rememeber, to use Windows SteadyState you must have genuine windows software and contact microsft website for details on it , I must advice that experience users must use or it should be installed with the consultations of experience person.
